Overview

Built by Clint ("we", "us") builds custom business software. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, submit the contact form, or chat with our Project Assistant, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Details you provide — such as your name, email address, and anything you tell us about your project through the contact form or the Project Assistant.
• Technical metadata — such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser information, and referring page, captured when you submit an inquiry to help us prevent spam and understand where requests come from.
• Usage analytics — aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic data via Vercel Analytics.

The Project Assistant & AI processing

Our Project Assistant is powered by a large language model provided by OpenAI through the Vercel AI Gateway. When you send a message, its contents are transmitted to OpenAI solely to generate a response and help summarize your inquiry. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, data sent through the API is not used to train their models. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information in the chat. Your conversation is used only to route your request to Clint.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, discuss potential work, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site (such as Resend for email delivery, OpenAI for AI responses, and Vercel for hosting and analytics).

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you've shared with us by emailing hello@builtbyclint.com. You're never required to use the Project Assistant — the standard contact form is always available.
